It takes a lot for the state to say you’re a lousy parent if you’re rich, but it does happen. Just ask Courtney Love. Charlie Sheen and his wife might be joining this unfortunate club. According to TMZ.com Aspen’s Pitkin County Social Services is considering investigating the Sheens. The couple has two children together, and he also has two daughters with former wife, Denise Richards.

What happens in Aspen doesn’t stay in Aspen. An official told TMZ- "If the family is vacationing in Pitkin County, and we feel that a thorough follow up is needed, we will contact the department where the family resides."

That’s LA of course where Charlie is filming “2 ½ men.” LA County will not hesitate to step in for "4 children."

There is no doubt that alcohol was involved with both parties because of released blood tests. There is an allegation that Sheen threatened his wife with a knife that was either a switchblade or a pocket knife. He has alleged that he was defending himself from his wife’s drunken actions. Thankfully there weren’t any major injuries on either party.

What is most disturbing is that there were children in the house when this fight occurred.
In an earlier article Tmz.com reported that the couple was arguing at 3:30 AM, and escalated over possible custody and divorce issues. TMZ stated that supposedly the “the catalyst for the argument was when he shared a song for one of his daughters he fathered with his former wife which made his current wife jealous.

There have been conflicting reports on whether the Sheens are in counseling or seeking a divorce. There are now might be three parties involved – Charlie, Brooke and the State of Colorado. Well, it could become a fourway if California wants to get involved.
