The film's red carpet premiere, on Monday, was packed with A-listers including Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, and Taylor Lautner. But the flick is as much a "who's-who" as it a "watch list" of rising young stars.
In a series of exclusive interviews, Examiner.com caught up with a couple of Valentine's Day's youngest stars.
Nine year old Jonathan Morgan Heit (pictured above left with director Garry Marshall) plays a bored, attention seeking, class clown in the movie. Of his 'annoying" character, Tough Franklin, the curly haired cutie tells Examiner.com, "I was bored with school. I was playing with the globe and standing on the chair. It was really fun." Jonathan, best known for his role in Bedtime Stories, describes his time on the set of Valentine's Day as fun. "Garry Marshall was really nice. I hope to be like him, cause he's still out there at that age," the giggling fourth graders say of the nearly 75 year old highly decorated director.

Examiner.com also spoke exclusively with 9 year old California native Ariyana Morris. She appears as "the soccer girl" in the film. Valentine's Day is Ariyana's second major production (she played the lead on the TV show Your Kid Ate What?). While her budding career is only beginning to take off, Ariyana tells Examiner.com, "I want to keep being an actress. It's fun to be on TV and have fans. Mostly you get money and put it in charities, like kids that want to make a wish or kids that don't have food or water," and with true passion in her voice she ends by telling me, "I love helping out kids."
