Jonas Brothers
It's been a good week for the Jonas Brothers. The popular boy band learned Disney will pick up not one, but two of the brothers' shows and the JONAS video game based on the TV series of the same name went on sale. (Oh, and PS...It's currently the #1 seller in the video game category on Amazon.com.)
The Disney Channel comedy series JONAS, featuring 17 year old Nick and his two older brothers Joe and Kevin, will begin production on season two in Los Angeles in February. New episodes are scheduled to start airing in mid-2010, according to Disney.
The Jonas Brothers reality series "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream" will also return. The second season of the short form series will premiere early next year. Production on the second season has already started in Europe where the the brothers are on their hugely successful Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009. Regarding the reality series Disney executives say, "We can deliver something to our viewers that no one else can – exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to the real life adventures of one of the superstar bands of our time. That's exactly the kind of unique experience our viewers have come to expect from Disney Channel."
