Katie Holmes at the Dizzy Feet Foundation Fundraiser
If you haven't seen Suri, the three year old daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, in heels you must be living under a rock. The toddler sports heels on the streets, more than many New York walkers.
The critics have never been quiet about their distaste for a three year old wearing heels. Suri's been photographed on numerous occasions in the past few months wearing heels. But FoxNews.com's exclusive report, in which they talked to a podiatrist, fired Katie Holmes up so much that she's now speaking out on her daughter's choice of footwear. Holmes told Access Hollywood, at of all places the Dizzy Feet Foundation fundraiser, the shoes are actually children's dancing shoes. Holmes added Suri's love for heels is actually her fault, "She, like every little girl – she loves my high heels." (Hey give the woman some credit, at least Suri's not tromping around Boston or LA in her mom's stilettos.)
The heel issue isn't the only Suri-ism that gets the tabloids talking. There's also the fact that, even recently, Suri still favors a baby bottle. Katie Holmes better look out, FoxNews may soon have an orthodontist weighing in on her parenting skills.

I think everyone should leave them alone. Katie & Tom are the parents of Suri, they should handle how to dress their daughter not the entire public. Let's ask some of the people making comments what they let their kids do that others may not agree with. I think Katie and Tom are excellent parents! You do not see a nanny taking care of Suri, Katie & Tom are!

It's normal for children this age to go through phases with things they love, favorite PJ's, Haloween costumes, etc. Katie is letting her be normal!
I think it's great that a young girl knows what she wants to do already and has such loving parents that actually are there helping her achieve it. If she wants to be a dancer then let her wear dancing shoes! I'm sure she'll grow up to be a wonderful artist and inspire the world!
