ComedyCentral.com announces 'Thanxgiveaway Wiikend' contest: video Jeff Durham

November 5, 2009 - Today ComedyCentral.com announced their new "Thanxgiveaway Wiikend" contest. Thankfully this year there is an alternative to the regular programming of  THANKSGIVING. Competition for the traditional "piece of the pie" time slots will open up with a contest with great give aways to viewers. We are talking games, dvd's and cold hard cash.  For those that are having a hard time making ends meet in this economy, this could be your lucky break. 

Prizes are hourly so make sure you are watching live and not using your TiVo for this contest.  Make sure to charge up your cell phone the night before. Read the press release and check out site rules. Better yet, print out instructions and tape them next to your remote.

From Thursday, November 26 through Sunday, November 29, COMEDY CENTRAL will air a mix of programming to celebrate the network's "Thanxgiveaway Wiikend," including episodes of "The Jeff Dunham Show," stand-up specials from Bill Engvall and Kevin James and movies sure to jolt viewers out of their turkey comas, such as "Van Wilder: Freshman Year," "Still Waiting" and "Jackass Number Two." Throughout the weekend, viewers will also get inside looks at how Jim Breuer and his family celebrate turkey day at his house with "Thanxgiveaway Wiikend at the Breuers'" custom co-branded content pieces. Viewers need to stay tuned to the laughs because a different code will appear on the screen every hour, giving fans a chance to win one of 48 prize packages. By logging onto www.comedycentral.com/thanx, viewers can enter the codes to become eligible for each hour's prize. Viewers can also enter by texting the code to 44686 via their mobile phones (standard text message rates will apply to messages sent to and from COMEDY CENTRAL).
