Cameron Diaz flaunts a pregnant belly in one of a few new posters for “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.”
Along with Diaz, each poster for the upcoming film features a pregnant actress – Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Banks and Anna Kendrick – sporting a baby bump. The only exception is Jennifer Lopez, who is photographed holding a book titled “America’s Pregnancy Bible.”
The posters also show quotes that represent each character and give viewers a sense of how the women perceived their own experiences with babies. For example, although Lopez may not be pregnant in the film, her caption refers to adoption: “I can’t wait to meet my baby.”
The five actresses in the film are joined by Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid, Chace Crawford, Joe Manganiello, Megan Mullally and Chris Rock. The movie follows multiple couples including Diaz and Morrison’s characters, who compete on a celebrity dance show.
The movie is based on the bestselling self-help pregnancy book “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” by Heidi Murkoff.
Two actresses in “What to Expect” have had connections with Long Beach. Diaz attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School and “Bridesmaids” star Wendi McLendon-Covey earned a Bachelor’s degree at CSULB.
