Fans of the fist pumping, fake tans, fights and non stop partying are getting an extra special treat. The cast of the MTV reality show Jersey Shore are moving into the Metropole Hotel located on Collins Avenue.
Huge fans will have some trouble getting a reservation, the hotel is completely booked up until May 26th.
Odds are though that you will be able to see many of your favorite cast members living it up at all the famous South Beach hot spots and parties. In fact, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley, Sammi Giancola, Pauly Del Vecchi, and Mike the Situation Sorrentino have already been seen out and about.
One spot you can be sure you won't find any of these "guidos" or "guidettes" is celebrity hotspot Mynt Lounge. Owner Romain Zago rejected a request to shoot parts of an episode at his club.
``Miami Beach takes pride in the years it took to establish an upscale tourist attraction, and bringing this show to town would lessen that image,'' Zago wrote in a statement in February. ``Any club or establishment that participates can and should be held liable for such mischievous behavior.''
The statement added: ``Shame on whoever agrees to such [a] display in our city.''
Many have chimed in from across the country to bash this program for its negative portrayal of Italian Americans, for the crazy fights, and just about everything about the show but sadly for them I don't think its going anywhere. Even celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning want to be seen with them!
Love it or hate it, they are here to stay.
Season 2 of Jersey Shore is set to air this summer.
