In 1979, Tim was given an assignment to cover the Rush concert at the old Chicago Stadium. After the review was published, he never stopped. Sure, that was just an assignment for his high school paper, "The Barblet," but it sent him on a path that would take him to the Red Carpet in Hollywood. In college he was the editor of his own magazine called "Fridays," among other duties (at The Daily Vidette, ISU), from 1983-1986. After a stint in Hollywood, he returned to Illinois to work for Sauk Valley Newspapers in Dixon, Illinois and created its magazine "The Big E," an entertainment publication, from 1993-2006. He even started his own called "Have Fun!" Today, along with a Midday radio gig from 10 a.m.-Noon on AM 1240 WSDR, based in Sterling, Illinois, he still finds himself on the entertainment beat.He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Illinois State University.
