Rapper and Chicago native, Lupe Fiasco, took part in a very emotional journey to get the word out about the importance of clean drinking water around the world.
Fiasco, along with other actors and musicians, climbed Africa's Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2010 as MTV captured every moment of their dangerous hike. Tonight, MTV will premiere Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro at 9/8c.
Fiasco, signed with Atlantic Records, was one of the first to sign on to the climb. He takes pride in bringing to light the issues that affect young people in our world. As a musician, he has two full length albums in stores. His music can also be heard on film and TV soundtracks such as, Taken, One Tree Hill and Entourage.

You know, when I saw this coming out using Jessica Biel as the star, I was like, "Blahhhh". But with Lupe, (and Emile Hirsch), I am kind of really intrigued. I am glad Chicago is represented!
I think the cause is great and it's always great to see some of the lesser known celebs helping out too. (I'm a big Emile Hirsch fan too.)
