July 8, 2010 -- Yesterday, Ringo Starr turned 70. The former Beatles drummer spent the entire day in New York City, making an evening appearance with his All-Starr band at the venerable Radio City Music Hall.

This grand Art Deco landmark was an apt place for such a grand occasion, while the more casual Hard Rock Cafe is where Ringo spent lunch with a little help from his friends -- and family too.

But back to Radio City.

Inside, the band played and then luminaries Yoko Ono, Steve Van Zandt, Jeff Lynne, Nils Lofgre, Joe Walsh, and Starr's son Zak Starkey joined the musician-of-the-hour in a nostalgic reunion on stage.

As if that wasn't enough of a jolt, Paul McCartney surprised everyone, showing up on the magnificent Deco stage at Radio City Music Hall in New York City to sing with his former colleague Ringo. What a way to celebrate 70. Happy Birthday, Mr. Starr.

my brother bought tickets off a website for the most memorable evening ever deserverd by the most avid BEATLE fan you could ever meet. The website sold him tickets from a broker. We showed up, had our tickets scanned, and was told they were already seated. Three other people had the same seats as us. We wanted to see who was in our seats that we paid for...no sympathy, was told to leave the premises. The police were called and sided with Radio City. Our tickets were valid and paid for. Who was in our seats? This hurt my brother and I as the hurt we felt when we watched our parents die. No one will understand the hurt we felt when the show at Radio City was sold to us on a scam. For furthur details reach me at my cell..(516)417-0439)...leave message. Radio City would not even escort us to confront...NO...I mean to talk to the people who had our same ticket seats.. How did they have our same ticket seats? I CAN REAVEAL the website and the broker. Did they know to beat us there?
