The 67th Golden Globe Awards are this Sunday from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. While we will be rooting for either James Cameron ( Avatar ) or Jason Reitman ( Up In The Air ), both Canadians, to win the Best Director/ Motion Picture category, it's what takes place on the red carpet that will be talked about around the water cooler.
Who can forget the makeup faux-pas extraordinaire on Nicole Kidman at the New York movie premiere of Nine? Baby powder glowing on her face. Yikes, Local makeup artist, Melanie Ho Ken, was stunned at this oversight. "I'm shocked that any makeup artist - better yet one to the celebrities - could have this happen." After the show, Melanie will offer us her thoughts on the makeup from the red carpet - and if Nicole Kidman will redeem herself. Hopefully there won't be any stray false eyelashes!

This year's Miss Golden Globe is Mavis Spencer, the daughter of Alfie Woodward and Roderick Spencer. Traditionally the role of Miss/ Mr Golden Globe is the offspring of a famous actor/ actress.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) will be announcing at the show that they will be donating $100,000 to Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti Relief Fund.
