The decision makers at Arista Records have decided to move up Whitney Houston’s latest album’s release date. I Look to You, will now be in stores on August 31st. Apparently, the decision was easily made due to the huge success of the New York and Los Angeles listening parties.
As a special gift to fans, the album’s title track can now be listened to and download at the star’s website, here. Don't wait too long. They are taking it down on July 31st. The song does suggest not to take, all the rumors about her voice being ruined seriously. Her voice sounds fantastic and the song should be a welcomed addition to the airwaves of radio. It might be a nice change to hear a stars actual voice on the radio instead of a digitized one.
This will be Whitney’s 7th studio album and Clive Davis, founder of Arista records, has said that this album will prove she is “one of the all-time great vocalists.” The album reportedly took three years to make and is expected to cover the ups and downs of Whitney’s life. On that subject, Whitney herself said, “All the triumphs and the ups and downs and stuff, it's all incorporated on the album, and hopefully not only does it inspire me, but inspires a whole lot of other people."
