The body of Michael Snyder of Albuquerque, New Mexico was found buried in the front garden of the house Bale rented during his work on Terminator: Salvation.
Michael Snyder had been missing for eight years prior to the discovery of his remains.
The local police were alerted through a phoned in tip last week, according to the celebrity gossip website TMZ. Christian Bale's representatives have stated that he was unaware of anything unusual during his stay while shooting the film.
Snyder's ex-wife has been arrested and charged with the 8-year-old murder.
