That is the standard suspension now for both minor leaguers and major leaguers in baseball at this point, so 50 games isn't a lot for this aggrieves offense. It’s sad though, that some baseball players are trying to cheat to get ahead of the game in this fashion, and some feel that the suspension should be for a full season rather than just 50 games.
Back to LeBron James, and the rumors that unfortunately surrounded him this morning, it seemed that this was intended to be something that would paint LeBron James in a negative light. There was no reason that this rumor needed to be started, and that it even became a story was because someone was looking to sell some headlines. James has never been associated with steroid use before, and there is no reason that writers need to start making that link now.
It's time to put the LeBron James steroid rumors to bed, because James has never tested positive for any illegal substances, let alone the drug of choice for many baseball players in the late 1990's. Cleveland can put to bed those fears that were created Friday morning, but maybe Indians fans should take notice of this suspension of their prospect catcher. Ending another rumor, it isn't true that Steven Lebron plays for the Spokane Indians baseball team, as the Spokane Indians are now a minor league team for the Texas Rangers.
