A home movie showing Marilyn Monroe allegedly smoking marijuana has surfaced, according to Reuters.
The film was retrieved from an attic approximately 50 years after it was taped. Collector Keya Morgan purchased the movie for $275,000 from the anonymous person who filmed the footage. "I got it (the pot). It was mine. It was just passed around," the person who shot the film said. "It was not a party. It was just a get-together. You know, come over and hang out."
Morgan is a collector of historical photos, manuscripts, autographs and documents and is working on a documentary on Monroe's death.
"This is the late '50s so she is already very famous, but this is a personal side of her we've never seen before. People have never seen her in such a relaxed pose," Morgan said.
