Chris Tucker an American actor and comedian owes the IRS $11 million dollars in back taxes. Famous for his role as Detective James Carter in Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2, he also starred as "Smokey" in the movie Friday. In June 2009 California reportedly placed a tax lien on Tucker's properties for failing to pay $3.5 million in back taxes.

Chris Tucker made $20 million in Rush Hour and $25 million dollars in Rush Hour 2, combine with percentages from each box office, fans are saying he had plenty of money to pay off the IRS $11 million dollars in back taxes. According to the documents filed by the IRS at the Los Angeles County Recorder's office, the actor underpaid the IRS for five years.

Chris Tucker is also good friends with Jackie Chan, the late singer, Michael Jackson and has traveled overseas with Bill Clinton. He was a frequent performer at the Def Comedy Jam and it wasn't until the movie Friday with Ice Cube in 1995 did Chris Tucker gain greater recognition.

Locals in San Francisco who owe taxes have one thing to say to Chris Tucker and thats, "Pay your taxes because if you don't, they'll come after you sooner or later!"
