Singer and dancer, Jennifer Lopez, who made a little slip-up on Sunday's American Music Awards 2009, was apparently for east coaster's eyes only.
Lopez who walked over a human staircase that was made up of her back up dancers, jumped off the "staircase" but instead of landing on her feet, she fell on her behind. However, because of the time difference with the east and west coast, the performance was edited before the west coast got to see it.
According to E! Online, Dick Clark Productions' executives and the AMA's show producers who decided to edit the performance said, "Due to the live nature of the show, we did not expect the impromptu moment in question. Regarding Jennifer Lopez, execs and producers felt it was respectful to Ms. Lopez to edit the mishap for later time zones."
So what did JLO herself have to say about her little stumble?
The singer who talked to Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show said, "Yeah, I meant to do that...That was part of the choreography. Look, the measure of things is not what happens when you fall, it's how you handle when you fall."
