Adam Lambert, the ex "Idol" runner-up who caught people's attention on this past sunday's "American Music Awards 2009," may have gotten the evil eye from ABC and viewers, but, he is certainly not sorry for what he did.
Lambert, 27, appeared on yesterday's morning show, "The Early Show," with host, Maggie Rodriguez, and discussed his whole controversial 'AMA' performance.
The singer who was cancelled from ABC's "Good Morning Show" after the AMAs, told Rodriguez, according to "Access Hollywood," "All that matters to me is that the fans got a show. And 'GMA' made the decision that they made and that's fine."
During the interview with Lambert, he admitted he did get a bit "carried away" and mentioned other "adult material" performances by Lady Gaga, and Janet Jackson, where he didn't see offensive.
However, the singer went on and said [about his performance], "but I don't see anything wrong with it. I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention. My intention was to interpret the lyrics of my song and have a good time with it."
So how does he feel about the parent viewers that are furious about Lambert kissing his male keyboardist and "simulating" oral sex moves on a "family show"? "I think it's up to the parents to discern what their child's watching on television. I'm not a baby sitter. I'm a performer."
Days before, Lambert told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show, "I don't feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late-night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. It's just the fact that I'm me and it's a little different for people. It's really not that big of a deal."
Towards the end of the interview, Lambert was asked if he would do anything different on the AMAs if he could. All he said to Rodriguez was he would change "sing a little bit better."
Lambert who later performed on "The Early Show," said to the camera, "parents, this is appropriate, I promise!"

Seriously you wanted Adam Lambert to start with a nice Christmas Album? He is jewish! Hello! And he hasn't done anything that other artists have done. During the same night Janet Jackson's dancer kneeled down before her with his head at her crotch and that was after she had grabbed his privates and shoved his head down. So did Alicia keys dancer! He gave her crotch a full viewing so her Adam does it only higher with his hand on the guys head and everyone start complaining. Get real. How is that any different?
