Glam rocker, Adam Lambert, who surprised millions of viewers on Sunday's AMA performance may have flopped with the audience, but definitely soared online with his new album.
The 27-year-old who was dropped from ABC's "Good Morning America" due to his performance on stage with kissing his male keyboardist and "simulating" oral sex moves, said he saw "downloads of his debut album soar online," making the openly gay singer No. 4 on iTunes, according to Reuters.
Lambert who made an appearance on the Ryan Seacrest radio show yesterday morning, told Seacrest, he "did not agree" with ABC's decision to cancel his performance on "Good Morning America." They [ABC] probably had a lot of pressure coming at them from certain people who weren't happy about it."
Glambert also went on to say, "I don't feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. It's just the fact that I'm me and it's a little different for people. It's really not that big of a deal."
Lambert who released his first solo album yesterday, "For Your Entertainment," was picked up to perform by rival morning show, "The Early Show," where he will perform today, and talk about his "racy" performance on the AMAs.
Lambert will also appear on "Late Show with David Letterman" tonight on CBS.
