On Saturday at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, New York, the famous glove worn by Michael Jackson was sold for $350,000. The rhinestone-studded glove was just one item up for bid during the "Music Icons" auction. The auction also included items from the Beatles and Mariah Carey, among others.
Hoffman Ma of Hong Kong, representing Ponte 16 Resort Hotel in Macau, will pay a total $420,000 once taxes and fees are included. The glove, which Michael Jackson wore during his performance at the Motown's 25th Anniversary TV special, was valued at $40,000 to $60,000 before the auction.
