Former child stars Gary Coleman plead guilty Monday for a domestic violence incident that occurred in April 18, 2009. He was charged with a misdemeanor criminal mischief when he assaulted his wife Shannon Price after an argument got out of hand.
In December 2008 he pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred in a bowling alley parking lot only three months earlier.
During that incident Colt Rushton claimed that Coleman hit him with his truck after an altercation over photos. He settled that lawsuit, and was, at that time, ordered to pay a $100 fine.
Gary was arrested on January 24 for failing to appear in court. He paid a bail of $1, 7255 after spending a night in jail.
Coleman was sentenced to 31 1/2 days in jail if he fails to complete a domestic violence course and pay a $595 fine.
The former “Different Strokes” star has had difficulty finding work. He also has had a string of health problems that range from heart surgery to kidney condition.
He entered the plea on what would be his 42nd birthday.
