Last night Steven Tyler was talking to her fans when he was joking about getting a day job. One of the new judges on American Idol, Tyler was sharing just how different being a judge is compared to be on tour performing for thousands of screaming fans. Steven Tyler along with Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Ryan Seacrest were guests on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday.
Sharing that the routine for American Idol is so different, the entertainer didn’t mind making fun of himself in the process.
“When we are not touring I figure I will get myself a little day job,” says Steven Tyler talking about his reasoning of picking up the gig. Obviously not worried about what his colleagues think, he definitely wants to be a good judge.
As with any new job, getting used to the times to go to work as well all that goes into the process takes a while. The difference between touring and going to set on the stage appears to be something that Tyler is still working on but managing
“I am not until alive until 4pm and we are on the set at 10 in the morning,” admits Tyler.
The interview last night gave everyone a chance to see just how interactive the judges will be on the new show. Laughing, remarking and even giving each other a little verbal jab every now and then, there is no doubt the chemistry for the new judges appears to be perfect.
