June 30, 2010 -- Queen Elizabeth II is in Canada as part of a 9 day trip to celebrate the country. Yesterday the royals were in Halifax reviewing the Canadian military with an amazing show of force from all parts of the military. The Queen, was also treated to a chance to view other parts of the country.
Canadian tour continued today with a visit to the Museum of Nature and will be followed by a meeting with the Prime Minister Stephen Harper. A full schedule, there appears to be a nonstop flow to the tasks at hand including meeting many Canadians during her visit
Thursday is Canada Day and the festivities of the event are in the final preparations to honor the country.The Queen is set to make a speech honoring the day at Parliament Hill as well as a join in the festivities. After her tour in Canada, she is stopping in New York before returning to the United Kingdom.
