February 9, 2010 -- The New Orleans Saints have an entire city to celebrate when they arrived today to enjoy the moment when the NFL Lombardi trophy rolled down St Charles Avenue. More than 250 Saints players, coaches and staff members threw beads from a dozen traditional Mardi Gras floats.

The parade enjoyed more than a dozen marching bands, a horse drawn fire engine and the Mardi Gras floats of Endymion, Bacchus, Rex, Zulu, Alla, Caesar, Tucks, Muses, Orpheus and Babylon. Last but by no means, no way least, the parade wouldn’t have been official without political figures such as Mayor Ray Nagin, and Gov. Bobby Jindal, also seen on the celebratory route.

The parade stopped at the reviewing stands set up for dignitaries and fans in New Orleans were the Ying Yang Twins sang ‘Halftime Stand up & Get Crunk.’ The fans loved the NFL winners and celebrated New Orleans style while still asking ‘Who Dat?’
