July 29, 2010 -- Leonardo DiCaprio is allegedly backing out of an upcoming collaboration with Mel Gibson.
This possible blacklash to all the controversy for the Braveheart star and Oscar winner comes from RadarOnline.com today. The show biz news site reports that the Inception star will not be working on a project Gibson is said to be directing.
Shooting had been set to start in the fall on the untitled Viking film, but that was before the director/actor was involved in domestic abuse allegations.
The movie, to be produced by Graham King and Gibson's film company, Icon Productions will have a titanic time finding someone of Leonardo DiCaprio's caliber with which to collaborate -- if the project does move forward.
More as information comes in.
