Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz may make girls wimper with his rippling six pack, but in his new PETA ad, Lutz is using his puppy dog's eyes to turn you onto adopting animals. Hugging his pooch "Kola", Lutz's ads released Wednesday along with his story about how he fell in love with "Kola" at first sight - At the animal shelter.

"I wanted to get involved with PETA's animal adoption campaign for the one reason that there's countless numbers of animals out there," Lutz says in his PETA ad. "It's our job to ... take [animals] under our wing and take care of them and give them a place to live," he adds.
Kellan describes when he first saw his now-loved pup "Kola" at the shelter "in a corner" and how he could "feel the pain" that she was going through. Even though "Kola" initially seemed scared and "depressed", Kellan says he saw through it all and told the shelter attendant he "wanted to see this dog".
