September 8, 2010 -- Today, Angelina Jolie spoke up to adamantly oppose the Dove World Outreach Center (membership: 50) led by Pastor Terry Jones to make 9/11 'International Burn a Koran Day'.

As a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN now in Pakistan helping with flood relief efforts, Jolie brings attention to this act of religious intolerance which spurs Christian/Muslim tension around the world.

This information comes by way of People who said that today, during a press conference, Angelina was asked whether or not she supports the Florida Pastor's plan for burning this sacred book.

She replied, "Of course not. Of course not."

Further, Jolie said she couldn't even form the words to say how strongly she is against destroying the religious scripture and that she supports the US government to admonish these plans which have spurred great anger in many places, including Afghanistan where our troops are still stationed.

Both the State Department and Barack Obama's administration have told Pastor Jones in no uncertain terms that they oppose their horrendous 9/11 plans to burn the Koran. Angelina Jolie is right there to back up this protest big time. In fact, this Academy Award-winning humanitarian is adamant about her view of the idea of this hideous religious act.
