American Idol's Casey James says that third place is just fine with him. When People Magazine asked the third runner up if it was bittersweet to leave Idol, he said this, "Not at all. Not at all. It was not bittersweet whatsoever. It was amazingly as sweet as it could be."
Casey also said that being in the final three with Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox was great, as both are very special people. "They are good people and they’ve got good things coming their way. I do know there is quite a bit of music we all share, which is funny because we are from such different trains of thought and from different places in the world." Casey told People.
The Idol castoff also says that he's ready to make an album and it will probably contain a mixture of country, blues, rock, soul and folk. He wants it to be a good mix and doesn't want to go in just one straight direction.
