May 26, 2010 -- Tonight on the American Idol Finale, the fun began before the question of who will be the next American Idol. Included in the parade of entertainers who graced the stage was the group Hall and Oates.

Giving a strong performance with Daryl Hall and John Oates, there is no denying this group brought the best of the song they sang years ago to life. The song, sounding extraordinary life, really seemed like a recording (it was live so don't even worry.)

Tonight on American idol the stage didn't stop rocking with folks like Bret Michaels, Alice Cooper and Carrie Underwood all singing for their fans across America.

Take a peek at this awesome performance below.

Can you believe that Hall and Oates are not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. What a shame. These guys have truly moved millions of people with their music.

Soooo... Hall and Oates can't even post a video of _themselves_ singing _their own song_ on _their own website_ (it links to the same YouTube clip embedded here)?! W T F?!?

    Real classy, Idol producers.
