 R and B singer-songwriter and actor Beyonce delivers a special Thanksgiving TV Special and DVD  just in time for this holiday season.The  Thanksgiving concert and DVD release of “IAM...YOURS An Intimate Performance at the Wynn Las Vegas ,  will air November 26th on ABC at 9pm EST.

It will be a one hour feature with interviews and an up close look at Beyonce, according to the Associated Press. ( The special will also include a concert of Paul McCartney.)

The show will be the pop diva's  first network special for Thanksgiving. It will provide fans and viewers the opportunity to catch behind the scene footage of Beyonce. ( As a fan, I must admit this is will probably be the #1 ranking for TV shows that night. Beyonce always puts on an amazing concert.)

In addition, she will also release her latest DVD/ LIVE CD November 23 called, “IAM...YOURS An Intimate Performance at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas.” 

Her concert series was filmed at the Encore Theater located at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. It consists of over 30 songs from Beyonce’s multi-platinum solo releases, Destiny’s Child songs, and promises a few surprises. Some of your favorite songs to expect are: her #1 hits “If I Were A Boy,” “That’s Why You’re Beautiful, " “Halo”, “Sweet Dreams” and let us not forget “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”, which allowed her to walk away with the biggest MTV award, “Video of the Year.”

Beyonce reveals her concept behind her latest album in saying, "SASHA FIERCE is my alter ego,"  I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created  kind of protects me and is who I really am. That's why half the record, I AM…, is about who I am underneath all the makeup, underneath the lights, and underneath all the exciting star drama. And SASHA FIERCE is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm working and when I'm on the stage. The double album allows me to take more risks and really step out of myself, or shall I say, step more into myself, and reveal a side of me that people only know me see."

As an icon and leading lady for this generation of R&B and pop music, Beyonce keeps her eye on the prize with anything she touches and brings creativity with her music. It seems as though she always finds a way to surprise her fans whether it be  on-stage,  in videos, through her fashion, acting, or her  personal life with hubby Jay-Z.

Since, starting her career in 1998 as the lead singer of  Destiny’s Child with the single “No, No, No,” it has been interesting to watch her mature and progress in the music world with her song titles and voice range in songs like, “Flaws and All” and “That’s Why You’re Beautiful.”

Beyonce is a leader in the industry. She is the  “Woman of the Year” for Billboard magazine, a businesswoman, 7 Grammy award winner, BET award winner, and most recent MTV award winner. The list goes on and on. It is evident, Beyonce is in a league of her own and a great entertainer to keep your eye on this holiday season!
