"High School Musical" hottie Zac Efron recently traded in his wispy locks from a close-cut crop on Thursday, July 2.
Zac, 21, was spotted leaving La Peer Salon in Beverly Hills sporting a plaid button-up shirt and a fresh haircut. Ladies, do you like it?
In related news, the Troy Bolton actor is gearing up for his next project "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud."
In the film, Zac plays Charlie -a young man who is "overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother. So much so that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery in which his brother is buried. Charlie has a special lasting bond with his brother though, as he can see him. Then, along comes a girl (Tess Carroll) into Charlie's life and he must choose between keeping a promise he made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves", according to IMDB.com.
Just last week Efron was seen possibly preparing for his new role as he was spotted setting sail at Marina del Rey in Los Angeles.

I don't like the haircut....I freakin' LOVE IT!! He always looks hot, but he looks so much hotter with his hair off of his face and out of his eyes. He is just yummy.
i used to think that zac wasn't very good looking, i just thought he looked like a little kid and my sister hated me for it lol but now WOW!!!! He is HOT!
Looks great, but let's get realistic that actors won't keep the same cut forever! Over the years, we'll see everything from his former long hair to military high & tights, or even shaved heads. This has been the case for every actor! So talking about liking or not liking a haircut is a bit silly for actors as their haircut is driven by their job, and little else!

i think he looks older..... he now has a kind of hayden christensen look.... omg hayden christensen is soooo buff.... zac is now beginning to look even buffer than he used to be....
