Robert Pattinson, the world's most reluctant star, has been talking about his latest film project, Bel Ami, a move in the right direction for the actor with costars like Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, and Kristin Scott Thomas. Pattinson plays a Parisian journalist who sleeps his way to the top. Oh, role reversal, you're so enduring!
Since the movie's about sex, there happen to be a lot of sex scenes. And you know what that means, you crazy Robsessors! Butts! Naked Rob butt! Okay, take a moment to run around your room, fanning yourself and squealing. Now pause, kiss your life sized cardboard Edward Cullen cut out and sit back down.
Pattinson says the pressure to um, perform is much greater in this movie. "The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing. Her character kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal."
Let's take a moment to appreciate 'kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon' as a triumphant moment for vague statements.
Fans of Pattinson will get their fill of him in the upcoming Remember Me. 'Steamy' shots from the film, costarring Lost's Emilie De Raven, have been leaked. And by steamy they mean 'fully dressed in a shower.' Hot!
Remember Me is due out March 12th, and will tell the story of a young couple trying to maintain balance with each other as they endure family tragedies.
