Kristen Stewart is rare person who actually shows up for jury duty

Kristen Stewart actually IS one of those 'stars who's just like us' although maybe even more so because she actually showed up for a jury summons in L.A and was selected for the panel. Stewart spent three days over a riveting case involving a man who was arrested for soliciting a prostitute. Wow. That actually goes to court? It's illegal, yeah, but one of those stupid illegal things. Huh. You live and learn. Anyway, the guy's defense was that his English was too poor to be soliciting anything from the ladies, or in his case, the undercover cop. The jury sympathized and he was found not guilty. It actually sounds feasible since I don't know why any Spanish-speaker would stop an English-speaking prostitute when there are so many serviceable bilingual women and 'women' right in my neighborhood!

Anyway, after the trial Stewart asked security guards if she could keep her juror badge, and since TMZ was there to document anything that could possibly go wrong and document it to create a story, as is their style, they reported the guards posed for pictures with Stewart. It seems this is a huge no-no and now their jobs are at risk because they were being nice and Stewart was being nice. That sucks.

One word of advice to Stewart: she always does that close-mouthed tight smile in pictures. I know why she does this because I too do it from time to time. It is because she has an ill lower grill. However, after years of wondering why people thought I was so unfriendly and unpleasant when I passed them, I caught my own reflection and realized what I thought was a smile was totally not a smile. Learn from my error, Stewart! She's so pretty when she actually smiles.
