Oh, Jude Law! You rapscallion! The handsome, hair-challenged actor got down and dirty with NYU freshman this week after catching them spying on him during his exercise routines. The actor tried to discourage their attention by hurling oranges at their windows. Ew! That just leads to fruit flies and maggots! Law, who is in New York as he plays Hamlet on Broadway, had enough of the students watching him on his balcony with his children and retaliated.
An NYU freshman says his aim may have been true but it was bad. "He missed," she told the NY Post. "This time, he hit the windows." But is that really a miss? It would probably be a lot more legal trouble than it's worth to actually clock a kid in the head with an orange.
Law will be co-starring with Robert Downey Jr. in Guy Ritchie's upcoming, 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' rendition of Sherlock Holmes.
