wow. that's so disappointing. was such a huge john mayer fan. i have a lot of respect for the music he writes and his craft but what a let down that the personality doesn't fit the music. i say crap i shouldn't say when with friends (not racist crap as i've been called the n word too many times in life and it breaks my heart to see my grandma afraid of white people because of her history). so i'm by no means perfect but control would be a good thing for mr. mayer. a little control. certain opinions need to be shared in certain company. i can see that he was going for humor but, he failed. and shame on the interviewer for the question do black girls throw themselves at you. what kind of nonsense is that?
Meh, doesn't matter to me at all what he says. I'm mixed race. I don't care. When I buy an album I really just want to know that the music is going to be good. I don't care about the person singing it any more than they care about me. He's entitled to his opinion.
