Poor Jessica Simpson. It's been a rough few months. First she was dumped by her boyfriend, and now she had to witness her beloved dog being abducted by coyotes. She twittered Monday night:
"My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR!"
The message was accompanied by a promise of a reward if anyone finds Daisy alive. If you do, email findingmissdaisy@gmail.com.
Unfortunately, the reality is that the coyote likely killed the dog. Every once in a while, a tough cat makes it through the L.A coyote attacks, but this is why it's HIGHLY advised by animal rescue and vets that you keep pets indoors, specifically cats and small dogs. The average life span of a cat, for example, that is kept inside, almost doubles. Obviously dogs need to go outside but always be aware of your environment, because in addition to coyotes in Los Angeles, animals have been abducted by large birds. Right now is high time for coyotes, too. Be careful if you live in the hills.
