Come Sunday, March 7, 2010 pop icon Mariah Carey will appear on the red carpet at the 2010 Academy Awards ceremony, to support her film "Precious", and if her past predicts her future - Carey's voluptuous bustline will more than likely be on display.
Just last month, the "Up Out My Face" songstress made headlines at the Golden Globe Awards when she wore a revealing Herve Leger dress.
Although Mariah's plunging neckline didn't land her on any Best Dressed list, it did spark controversy as to her fashion choice.
The multi-award winner replied to the negative feedback by saying, “I dressed very conservatively. My dress was long and my shoulders were covered. I don’t know what all the fuss is about.”
While Mariah doesn't see the "fuss" her noticably growing bosom has caused, she has also never admitted to ever having breast augmentation. (Hey, not everyone has to freely admit their plastic surgery history like reality star Heidi Montag.)
Plastic surgeon Tony Youn (who hasn't operated on Carey) stated,
"In the last few years, she [Mariah Carey] has gained a bit of weight and it seems that her breasts have at least doubled in size. She appears to have had a breast augmentation, with the implants placed below the muscle. This accounts for the space between her breasts, and the fact that she really can’t move them together to get midline cleavage, ala Dolly Parton. This is a classic sign of breast implants placed under the muscle. I tend to place the implants both above and below the muscle, depending on the wishes of the patient. Mariah has also either had her implants upsized recently, or her breasts have grown as she and her career have."
Next month, Mariah, her hubby Nick Cannon and her "girls" are set to attend the Oscars at the Kodak Theatre. One can only wonder what she'll be wearing.
