The Screen Actor's Guild Awards (SAG) were held last night, January 23, 2010 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.
Besides caring about who won the actual awards - fashion, fashion, fashion is what it was all about.
Sandra Bullock was a fashion hit, wearing a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown as was Christina Applegate in a silver Roberto Cavalli gown.
Penelope Cruz and Tina Fey opted for less formal attire and wore a shorter gown (also known as a dress) to the event.
As for fashion misses - Meryl Streep's patterned gown left a LOT to be desired. The gown looked more like curtains or a tablecloth than anything else. And what about Drew Barrymore's gown - also not a favorite.
The jury is still out on Mariah Carey's gown. Compared to her very revealing cleavage, popping gown she wore to the Golden Globe Award's the red gown is a hit. In and of itself - you decide.
What do you think - any dresses that were a sure fire hit or any dresses that missed the mark completely??

I agree about Meryl Streep's Gown. It looks more like curtains than anything. Can't wait to see what she wears to the Oscars.
