Paris Hilton banned from Vegas hotels

Will Paris Hilton be banned from other clubs after the boot from Wynn properties? Some say yes.

Paris Hilton is waking up this morning to some more bad news. The socialite has officially been banned from the Wynn and Encore hotels, both owned by the strictly business casino mogul Steve Wynn.

Wynn has also shown consistency in his no-tolerance policy by severing his business relationship with Paris’ boyfriend Cy Waits, who along with his twin brother Jesse, ran Tryst nightclub. That job was handed to Cy the night before his DUI Aug. 28 with Paris as his passenger.

Wynn Resorts released this statement yesterday: “Cy Waits has been separated from the company and is free to pursue other interests. Wynn has no further comment on this matter.”
Hilton was not under police scrutiny, at first. She asked to use the restroom during the traffic stop for DUI after a motorcycle officer smelled marijuana coming from the black Escalade Waits was driving and pulled him over in front of the Wynn.

In the Wynn restroom, Paris asked for her purse from the officer. As he passed it to her and she opened it to retrieve lip balm, a baggie containing what later tested positive to be cocaine, fell…into the officer’s hand.

Now many casino hosts and club promoters are saying ban the beauty and her bad attitude. Many of my sources are echoing the same sentiment: She's a pain to deal with and clean up after. Also, it seems that the cocaine has turned off many more than if she'd been stopped with marijuana.

Paris has no luck in Las Vegas.

She's a cautionary tale. Sad to see potential and position wasted.

To Anonymous: With all due respect, I assume you're joking.
Position? Potential? Nearly all of that is due to her family name. Yes, I suppose on one level, she's show entrepreneurship and probably is smarter that her public perception.
However, for the most part, she comes off as a spoiled brat who thinks she can get away with anything.
I have no sympathy for her, and hope she is sentenced to actual jail time.

Thanks for reporting on this Kimberley. It really is a sad comment that so often the aura of celebrity buys a "get out of jail free" card. Are we so obsessed with those in the limelight that we are willing to cut them yards and yards of slack where the same offense would have earned a much more severe penalty for "Joe or Jane Q. Public?"

My applause to Steve Wynn for taking the actions of a responsible adult. If you step over the line, potential consequences should be expected!

Celebrities are people just like you or me. The difference is, their profession puts them in front of the masses. Then, depending upon their image, they are adored, tolerated or hated. I've met many celebrities in my lifetime, and admire those who don't think their name or fame entitles them to break every rule in the book and get away with it. I love the ones who use their fame and fortune to do good for others.

    'Nuff said.
