Madonna: Smiling again

Madonna finally seems like Madonna again. She has lost the British accent, the talentless British husband, lives in New York City, and is actually smiling again. She looks like she has gained some badly needed weight as well.
Madonna is about to start recording her new album. David Guetta (Black Eyed Peas) has bragged about working on some of the tracks. The only other confirmed producer is Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen). We are far more excited about Brendan O'Brien than David Guetta.
It's a perfect time for Madonna to start working on a new album. Recent albums from fellow divas Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey have failed to live up to any hype.

I doubt it will do well given that although "Celebration" was fun, it was hardly new, and her latest compliation simply flopped due to most people having all of those songs. I was kind of surprised that Madonna had a Grammy nomination and Whitney and Mariah didn't! A Madonna/ Lady Gaga duet would be a great option at this point.
I want her to do something with deep lyrics again and potentially some ballads. I loved Confessions on a Dancefloor but the last truly great ballads she's done (released as singles) were in 1998!
You don't really know that she's starting to work on a new album yet and don't wish that on her- I don't mind if she takes 2 more years if she turns out an album that is Madonna-worthy art. We know what she can do, now let's give her space to do it.
M is the benchmark........how many times we've been having new Ms.(100th maybe)but the truth is there would only be 1 M, forever.
Why don't we have new Mariahs, coz she's not worth it.
Album wise I hope she will deart from the overtly dancy stuff and move on with some deep soul with beats and some haunting ballads. C'mon M we know you can sing well and with compassion. No other female artist sings with so much compassion although her voice is average.

Great news! Madonna is the true Queen of Pop and her albums are always interesting.Unlike many other pop artists,she always re-invents herself,tries new sounds and beats,and keeps it all interesting and exciting.I look forward to this new CD.

Good news! We want that 90's Madonna back - although she's great anyway. The truth is, year after year we witness some new pop singer claimed as "the new Madonna", but year after year they never reach the success and influence that Madonna has reached all over the world. It's a fact. Let's enjoy the Queen of Pop while she's still working.

Madonna rocks, and people can only follow her. At least she can fill a stadium (and not arenas anymore) like those that can only wish to be what she is and will always be. Mariah Carey used to be good, but now she thinks she is something special and her attitude thrown in faces makes all sick. Madonna knows she is good and need not self promote herself like a phoney.
Madonna's heart is just not in it anymore. She once prided herself on not being "mediocre", but now that is exactly what she has become. She just seems to be going through the motions at this point. Her videos used to be these grand and classy productions and now they look like someone put them together the day before the shoot. She will always be the Queen and no one will ever top her genius during her prime, but I would rather see her just retire than go on like this.
