If The National Enquirer is to be believed, Jim Parsons, of the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, is engaged. And it doesn't come as a surprise to his fans to hear that Jim is said to be marrying his longtime partner, Todd Spiewak.
Parsons (who grew up in Houston, the first major American city with an openly gay mayor) reportedly proposed to Spiewak right after he won an Emmy for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. According to the website Queerty, "If you listened closely, Spiewak's name was among the many Parsons thanked during his acceptance speech, right after his mama. And it's not like their relationship is a secret: If it's on WhosDatedWho.com, it's public, yo."
Despite the alleged upcoming nuptials, Parsons hasn't actually come out. So at this point, it's best to wish he and Spiewak a respectful congratulations, without trying to shove the closet doors open anymore than The National Enquirer already has.

I love Jim Parsons and his Emmy win was well-deserved. Glad to hear he is finding happiness in his personal life, though I am devastated that I cannot "grow up" and marry Dr. Sheldon Cooper!
