Lady Gaga defends Adam Lambert and gay rights to a fan
Lady Gaga was recently confronted by a fan after a concert in an Ottawa club for being friends with openly gay 'American Idol' star Adam Lambert.
According to the National Enquirer Lady Gaga was partying with friends when a drunken man confronted her saying; “I saw you and Adam Lambert on the AMA show, and the guy’s a flaming {explicit} — and I also think that you’re actually a man!”
Reportedly Gaga fired back: “Well, that’s your opinion, isn’t it? And I’m not about to waste my time trying to change it.”
The angry fan yelled back: “Well, don’t you care that you’re both going to hell!” Lady Gaga then looked at him and said; “No…not as long as I don’t have to see your face there!”
The intoxicated man replied; “Well You're a freak and so is he!" Before Gaga left she stated; “Okay, that’s it! Call me anything you want, but when you start calling my friends names, it’s over -it's war!” Lady Gaga then reportedly poured a glass of water on the drunken man and then swiftly left the club.

I love Lady Gaga and know she'd continue to be bold confronting discrimination, but I have to wonder whether this story is true. Consider the source. It would have happened some time ago - when she was starting her current tour. I would think her alleged pouring of wine over someone's head would have been in the media before now.

Adam Lambert and Lady GaGa aren't friends so I am not sure this is true. He worked with her, but they do not do anything socially, according to Adam. However, if it is true, I am in complete agreement with how Lady GaGa handled the situation. Unless you are God stop judging people. You have every right not to like her or Adam Lambert. Calling them names is infantile, and reflects poorly on the person name calling. This is 2010 can we please learn to treat each other with dignity.

Good for Gaga went to her concert yesterday and it was amazing but you had to be there,I could hear myself over all the other monsters and I swear there were at least hundreds of people in the group of seats I was sitting in in the center and I was the only one standing when she was play piano. that dude's an ass, people need to release that there's nothing wrong with being guy and if she's going to hell I I’m going rite down along with her, BY CHOICE. She’s the most wonderful person. Gaga loves her little monsters so much, she absolutely right when she says this: It NEVER wrong to love.
But I do wonder if this was real, it doesn’t sound much like her. She doesn’t even say rude things about anyone and is always so kind. If was real for that matter why would they wait so long to say something about it?

Don't underestimate her audience. I'm over 60 and enjoy her talent. (music, dancing and costumes) To judge someone's person by their performance would be like saying Anthony Hopkins is to be judged because of his portrayal of Hannibal Lector.

Lady Gaga is the voice for a lot people, and I thank her for standing up for herself and what she believes in, I wish more people practiced what they preached. It's 2010 people, we are not going anywhere so lets try to be more open minded and find something we love or like about someone before you hate on them.
