Britney Spears fans leave concert after they notice her lip syncing.

Some Australian Britney Spears fans are upset to find out they weren't seeing the singer perform live.

Britney Spears fans leave concert.

Some Australian fans left a Britney Spears concert after she'd only performed three songs. The reason? Britney was reportedly lip syncing her songs. Fans paid between $182-$1300 dollars for the tickets.

"We are really big Britney fans, but it was crap," Josh Blee told local reporters. "She has let us down. Added Amanda Hawlet, who drove two hours to Perth's Burswood Dome, "I want my money back or I want her to sing properly. It cost me half a week's wage....it was a waste."

The Australian government is getting in on the act.

Fans were so upset that the Australian government has considered requiring Britney Spears and any other performers who plan to lip sync to disclose the fact that she doesn't sing live on her concert tickets.  New South Wales Minister for Fair trade Virginia Judge says Australians would not tolerate a 'Mickey Mouse' perform ace.' "Let's be clear, said Judge Live means live."

Do you think fans are being too hard on Britney or do you agree with them? Comment below. (profane or disrespectful comments will be removed.)

If you're at a Britney Spears concert, you're a fan. If you're a fan, you've seen her perform before and should know for pretty much her entire career, except for the beginning, she's been lipsynching!! And its the CD track, she really doesn't try to hide it! So the Australian fans and press and people who are walking out of the concert are idiots! You should know this already! And you don't go to a Britney Spears show to hear her sing!! Her voice isn't that great! You go to see the spectacle, she would sound terrible singing and dancing at the same time and you'd really walk out. She's not known for being a big vocal talent, duh!!!

Those people that claim they are fans that has been saying all those bad things are clearly not FANS. If they are they should know what a BRITNEY show is which is great is every single way.So tired of these people and journalists saying crap about her.

The price of a ticket was not to hear a CD. If half of a performance is being provided then the tickets should be half price and fan or no fan the lip syncing should be disclosed on the ticket and therefore no cause for disappointment. Fans can make or break a celebrity. Best not to disappoint them.

Anyone running around a stage will sound like that, even Mariah Carey herself. I have seen so many tapings of performances where the artist sounds live but their mouth is not moving when the music is, and you know they are just performing. Britney has never claimed to be the next Whitney Houston, she prides herself in putting her whole self into entertaining her fans and anyone else interested in coming to see it. She knows what it takes to put out the best and she does it well. Anyone out there who thinks they are being robbed by going to one of her shows and not hearing every song live needs to try running around their living room a few times while keeping a steady in tune tone. Give the girl some credit. You will never leave one of her shows disappointed in the performance, she puts her soul into it.

Britney usually doesn't sing live, so, if people are still willing go waste their money on her show, they should be prepared to hear some mediocre pre-recordings, because that’s what she does best.

I don't think the issue has anything to do with whether one is a fan or non-fan. I think people would naturally be disappointed by a lip-syncing performance, since that was not was expected. I know I didn't. I was expecting a truly live musical experience. Last night's performance was not. Undoubtedly it was entertainment... But I can get that kind of entertainment from YouTube or TV.. When I attend a live music concert, I expect to be entertained or exposed to a live, moving, musically-relevant experience. Britney's concert, unfortunately, did not live up to the expectations that I had of it, and while I won't ask for my money back, I'm 100% sure that I will not bother attending another concert anytime soon.

I guess lots of entertainers do this. It's not a big surprise. But, if you spend that much on a ticket, it should say somewhere so you know before you buy.

Imagine a symphony orchestra "lip syncing". Performers should perform - simple as that -If they can't do it live - then don;t bother! Give me a good book instead!

Christ, it was not the fact she was lip syncing! It was the fact her performance was crap that they left! They realized she wouldn't be singing, but the fact she couldn't even dance is the reason they left.
