Dakota Fanning dishes on kissing Kristen Stewart.
'Twilight' fans love to see Kristen Stewart kissing her co star Robert Pattinson, but how will they feel when they see her locking lips with another co star? Stewart, 19, who signed on to play rocker Joan Jett in the biopic film 'The Runaways' will be sharing an on screen kiss with 'New Moon' co star Dakota Fanning.
Fanning plays Cherie Curry who wrote the book that the film 'The Runaways' is based on.
Dakota Fanning admits to the kiss on the red carpet for the 'New Moon' premiere in L.A. “Was it a passionate kiss?” asked an Access Hollywood corespondent. “Yeah. We’re playing Joan Jett and Cherie Curie and they’re best friends in the film and became really close in real life,” Dakota said. “And that’s something that went down back in the ‘70s.”
15 year old Dakota says it wasn't too hard to prepare for the kissing scene. “We were so into the scene and into the script and the characters.”
Joan Jett who was at the 'New Moon' premiere to support Dakota and Kristen Stewart says that Stewart did an amazing job portraying her. “I was very pleasantly surprised because when I spoke to her about whether she was going to cut her hair or not, she was like, ‘Of course I’m gonna cut my hair!’ And that really helps to make the difference and really embody the look. And I thought she looked great,” Joan said. “The cast did an incredible job, Kirsten was an amazing, amazing actor.”
When ask if she was Team Jacob or Team Edward Jett replied, “I’ll be Team Kristen!” she said. “How ‘bout that!”

The Runaways were more influential than people give them credit for. Hopefully the movie does well and they get some of the recognition they deserve. I'll be there when it opens.
I have been listening to the runaways a lot lately and I like their music, they were quite a band back in their day, I think kristen stewart is a very good choice to play joan jett, I think it's going to be a good movie, can't wait to see it when it comes out.
