Jeffrey Jones, most known for his role as Principal Rooney in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” turned 63 in September, but forgot to do something really important. He failed to update his sex offender registration, according to TMZ.
Jones pled no contest back in 2003 to paying a minor to take sexually explicit photos. He was required to register as a sex offender every year.
According to reports, Jones ignored that requirement in September, which in the eyes of the police is not only a big mistake, but also a felony.
Cops arrested the actor on Wednesday. He was freed on $20,000 bail.
If Jones is convicted, he could face up to three years in state prison.
To quote the very wise Michelle Elizabeth Tanner, “you’re in big trouble mister!”

wasn't he Paul Reuben's roomate?
Great job on the quote.
It's cool to be a sex offender now. Everybody's doin' it.
I see him all the time in the neighborhood...drunk. First time I saw him I was like... "wasn't he in Beetlejuice"
Paul Ruebens was a roommate of his years ago, but they have separate residences now. However, Paul's bust for porn which was dropped down and then further plead down was part of the same investigation (or perhaps a result of?) Jeffrey Jones' bust for underage pornography. Sounds like a seedy group of pals, man.
I had no idea he was Paul Reuben's roommate.. that explains a lot. "Ferris Bueller" was such a great movie took.. I completely forgot he was in "Beetlejuice." That was on ABC Family not that long ago.
i dont get the point of the full house reference. was he on the show? if not it seems like an oddly random and pointless way to finish your article
