Pop singer Madonna has purchased a horse ranch in the Hamptons. Madonna loves to ride horses. The horse ranch sits on 30 acres of land and cost the "Material Girl" $9.6M.
The 51-year-old mother of two purchased the ranch from the ex-wife of designer Calvin Klein. Part of the purchase agreement stipulated that Madonna must keep the property as a working equine center. The property is called the Wild Ocean Farm.
Reportedly, Madonna is also interested in purchasing an adjoining plot of land on which to build a mansion.
Madonna first burst onto the scene with her self-titled album Madonna. She has managed to stay relevant and popular by constantly reinventing herself and giving her fans the high quality entertainment they have come to expect.
This is not Madonna's first real estate purchase this year. She bought a $40M mansion in New York City in April. The four-story brick townhouse has 13 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, 9 fireplaces, wine cellar, garden, and elevator.
Madonna has been married twice. Her ex-husbands are American actor Sean Penn and British film director Guy Ritchie. She has also been romantically linked to A-Rod, Jesus Luz (current boyfriend), Dennis Rodman, Vanilla Ice, Al Pacino, Prince, and Warren Beatty, to name a few.
