After the news of actress Brittany Murphy’s death of a cardiac arrest Sunday morning, celebrities were quick to respond on twitter.
The first came from Murphy’s co-star in “Just Married” Ashton Kutcher.
“2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon.”
“Uptown Girls” co-star Dakota Fanning also responded to the loss.
“My thoughts go out to her family & friends. I am just very grateful that I had the chance to work with her.”
Friends of the star also have tweeted their condolences.
Tom Green – “She was always very nice to me, my friends, and family. Nicer than most. And a real funny gal.”
Soleil Moon Frye – “I am beyond words by the loss of Brittany Murphy. I was so blessed to know your grace. My heart goes out to your mama+ loved ones.”
Jessica Simpson – “Brittany Murphy was an incredible ray of Light to so many people. Her smile was contagious. My prayers are with her family and loved ones.”
Fred Durst – “What a sweet human being. My prayers are with her friends and family.”
Holly Robinson Pete – “Brittany was so sweet when I met her. Flew to Vegas together once- I remember her mom being lovely. My condolences to all of her loved ones”
Lindsay Lohan – “My deepest condolences go out to all of Brittany Murphy's loved ones& may she rest in peace. She was a great talent w/a beautiful soul”
