Actress Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to 90 days in jail on probation violations and other charges stemming from her 2007 drunk driving arrest.
Lohan, 24, received 30-day sentences for three separate charges, equaling 90 days total.
ORDERED TO DRUG REHAB
In rendering her decision on July 6, 2010, L.A. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel also ordered Lohan to attend a 90-day in-patient substance abuse program after time served.
Lindsay must surrender to authorities at 8:30 a.m. on July 20, and was ordered not to drive or drink, and to submit to drug and alcohol testing after her release from jail. In the meanwhile, Lohan, 24, is still required to wear her SCRAM alcohol monitoring bracelet until she goes to jail.
'I'M NOT TREATING THIS AS A JOKE'
Before the sentencing, an emotional Lohan pleaded with the judge, saying: "I'm not taking this as a joke -- it's my life and my career."
Lindsay added, "I didn't want you to think that I didn't respect you," explaining that she thought she was in compliance with her probation when she missed certain classes and made them up the following week.
Lohan's tears and explanations fell on deaf ears, as the judge initally ordered her to surrender herself immediately, but gave her two weeks to prepare herself at the insistence of Lohan's lawyer.
LINDSAY INVOLVED IN BAR FIGHT
The troubled actress made headlines on July 2, when she claimed a cocktail waitress of punching her in the face at an L.A. bar.
The waitress, Jasmine Waltz, denied the allegations, saying, “That disturbed little train wreck is delusional,” she said. "I didn’t hit her, but I’d like too.”
Lindsay, who has been to alcohol and drug rehab three times in the past three years, recently confessed she has addiction issues. “I tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine and mind-altering substances," she said. [see slideshow below]
When all is said and done, Lohan will likely serve a fraction of her 90-day sentence. In 2007, socialite Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for parole violations related to her DUI arrest, but only wound up serving 23 days in the slammer.

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Take that to the bank Lohan.
Lindsay Lohan got what she deserved.
Maybe this will open her bloodshot eyes.
If not, then this will be the least of her troubles.
See ya Lindsay.
I hope you learn from this and get your act together.
A lot of people are rooting for you.
I'm one of them, but this is for your own good.

lindsey lohan shouldve thought of her actions before doing them instead of doing drugs and drinking hopefully you learn your lesson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully this will scare her straight. Addiction is dangerous and no good can come of it in the long run. STOP doing drugs and abusing alcohol Lindsay! You're so young and have your whole life ahead.
Samantha,
Ok is she still 23 or 24? I know she has a birthday between now and the time she actually serves.
I any case, I hope this is a wake up call for her before its too late!
She'll never stop being who she is -- she's a product of her mother... who is clearly completely out of touch.
Lindsay reminds me of the spoiled eight or nine year old child who, having been caught doing something wrong, desperately begs for "just one more chance, pleeeeeease........", a response that has obviously worked for her before. If she does not get herself straightened out, it will only get worse, and at this point "worse" could mean she kills herself and/or someone else while she is impaired by drugs and/or alcohol. This is grown up stuff. The judge used a tactic that her parents would have done well to employ as she was growing up: tough love. You don't get a "get out of jail free" card just because you're adorable and smart!
