Twilight New Moon hottie Taylor Lautner is now a single guy according to reports from many sources saying the Valentine's Day duo of Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift have split.

The break up "just wasn't happening" said sources close to the star told Gossip Cop he three-month relationship was blown out of proportion by the media "because they're young and attractive". Adding, "It just wasn’t happening,” the source is quoted as saying.

The 17-year-old Lautner and 19-year-old Swift were both able to candidly joke about their love affair on Saturday Night Live,  where Lautner put his martial arts skills on display for fans to see, but an Us Weekly magazine source said the break up was like the relationship - Merely "contrived".

"He liked her more than she liked him," the source told Us. "He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn't travel much to see him."
