Stars flock to the AMA's, Taylor Swift ranks favorite (PHOTO SLIDESHOW)

While country music sensation Taylor Swift beat out MJ for favorite artist at the American Music Awards Sunday night, the late Michael Jackson took home four AMA's during the evening's gathering of hot performances and hot bodies.

Celebrity R&B singer Rihanna looked sleek and toned wearing a frilled, pink and black cut-out dress. The star, whose performance scored an "A-" by the LA Times, was able to burn calories while taking the stage.

In past interview with Contactmusic.com, Rihanna said singing "gets [her] in shape". For this "Rated R" superstar, she says being on stage let's her "work some of [the bad food] off." Probably a good thing since Rihanna's been known to request pizza and pasta backstage.

Famous hip-shaker Shakira was also on stage, surrounded by dancers in skinny black body suits. But that served as no competition for the 32-year-old beauty who has been linked to celebrity personal trainer Tracy Anderson.

Also looking sexy on the red carpet to the AMA's was Alicia Keys, Lady GaGa and Fergie Ferguson. Check out the slideshow below for all the hot physiques of the 2009 American Music Awards.
